New federal facility will support maintenance, fire, and park operations near Dinosaur, Colorado.
Bookcliff Partners/BHI has mobilized for construction of the Yampa District Multi-Operations Facility for the National Park Service east of Dinosaur, Colorado, near the Canyon Visitor Center. The project replaces a condemned maintenance building with a new operations facility built for the daily needs of the Yampa District team.
The one-story building will include administrative offices and a high-bay, drive-through garage for maintenance, fire, and operations vehicles. Bookcliff Partners/BHI will also complete site and utility upgrades, including water, power, communications, drainage, paving, security, a radio tower, and a vehicle and boat wash station.
“The National Park Service depends on facilities that work as hard as the people serving the park,” said Brandon Wilkins, Vice President at BHI. “Our team is focused on building a reliable operations hub and coordinating the site systems around it, from utilities and fiber-optic communications to the radio tower and vehicle wash area. This project gives BHI the chance to apply our general contracting experience to federal work and deliver infrastructure the Yampa District can use for years.”
