BHI is proud to announce its selection as a subcontractor for the construction of Pleasant Valley Solar, a groundbreaking 200-megawatt (MWac) / 261 MWdc solar facility located in Ada County, Idaho. This significant project, the largest contracted solar facility within the Idaho Power system, marks a substantial stride towards bolstering Idaho’s renewable energy landscape. Pleasant Valley Solar was developed by rPlus Energies, with Matrix Renewables recently acquiring majority ownership of the project.

BHI’s role encompasses providing comprehensive civil and electrical installation services for Pleasant Valley Solar. This involves the construction of approximately 66,000 linear feet of onsite roads, installation of 51 power conversion systems, and the installation of approximately 600,000 circuit feet of underground cable. Leveraging their expertise, BHI is set to play a vital part in bringing this ambitious solar project to fruition.
This endeavor follows BHI’s successful completion of the Appaloosa Solar 1 project, a venture with a similar scope, for the same project developer, rPlus Energies, and under the same EPC, Sundt Renewables. BHI’s proven track record and commitment to excellence make them the ideal choice for this significant renewable energy initiative.
